Heidelberg Papers in South Asian and Comparative Politics

This occasional paper series is hosted by the Department of Political Science of the South Asia Institute at the University of Heidelberg. The main objective of the series is to publicise ongoing research on South Asian politics and provide open access to the international community of scholars and policy makers and those interested in the region. The e-papers are available online and can be downloaded at no cost for the user.

The series draws on the ongoing research projects at the South Asia Institute in Heidelberg, seminars by visiting scholars and the wide scholarly network engaging with South Asia. The opinions expressed in the series are those of the authors, and do not represent the views of either the University of Heidelberg or the Editorial Staff.
