Cultural Systems and Ecological Crisis in Nepal: Towards Better Cooperation Between Anthropologists and Decision-Makers

Abstract The purpose of the following note is to illustrate some possibilities of cooperation between researchers and decision-makers. For this purpose, I shall trace and briefly discuss the contours of a highly simplified cultural system allowing for better guidance of practitioners and anthropologists but also for a few conclusions pertaining to both fields of activities.
