„Aufbau ja, Politik nein“. Zwei Interviews zur politischen Rolle der Studenten in Indonesien

Abstract

Between 1965 and 1967 the Indonesian students were considered as a political force, whose opposition to Sukarno’s “guided democracy” decidedly contributed to its breakdown. The political role of the Indonesian students, their aims and their identity six years after these occurrences are under discussion in the interview. The two interviewees, an economics lecturer and the Director of Higher Education, expressed their opinion to these questions from two different points of view.
