EU Declaration of Conformity pursuant to Section 18 Accessibility Improvement Act (= Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz):

Heidelberg Asian Studies Publishing (HASP) declares that the e-books offered on the Heidelberg Asian Studies Publishing website comply with the accessibility requirements of the Accessibility Improvement Act and European Accessibility Act (EAA) 2019/882. In justified and documented cases, it may happen that not all criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 are implemented.

This declaration applies to all e-books published by our publishing house in PDF format that are made available from 28 June 2025.
