Notes on the mantras from Kaṭha-Saṃhitā in A Vedic Concordance

Abstract

"More than hundred years after the publication of A Vedic Concordance, it was updated by Franceschini with the data from various texts. Though many Vedic texts are available in electronic forms today, the Concordance is still an indispensable tool for Vedic studies. Because only the first book of the text was published then, there are some differences between some of the mantras from Kaṭha-Saṃhitā in A Vedic Concordance and the text of Schroeder’s edition. Here the differences and some mantras which are not registered are listed for users’ convenience until they are integraged into a new updated Concordance in the future. (...)"
