Abstract

Evaluating the performance of language students is not only a useful instrument to judge their qualification in the foreign language, but also to motivate the students and make it clear to them where they should intensify their studies. Basically, there are four different aspects which may be used for evaluation: listening, reading, speaking and writing. A performance evaluation can be part of the language classes without preparing a separate test.
