Submissions should follow our Guidelines for authors. Please ensure that your manuscript adheres to these guidelines.

 

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

We welcome academic contributions to the Interdisziplinäre Zeitschrift für Südasienforschung (IZSAF), the Interdisciplinary Journal of South Asian Studies. We mainly address early career researchers and scholars of all disciplines who engage with the cultures, religions and languages of South Asia and their global entanglements. IZSAF is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal which has been published annually since 2016.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • You have read the author guidlines.
  • You agree to the copyright, publication ethics and data collection policies of IZSAF.
  • Your submission has not been previously published, nor is it being considered for publication elsewhere.
  • You are submitting your original work and have the rights to the work.
  • Your manuscript is preceded by an abstract and keywords.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
  • Formatting is reduced to the necessary minimum.
  • You have obtained and can supply all necessary permissions for the reproduction of any copyright works not owned by you.
  • The text follows the stylistic and bibliographical guidelines in Guidelines for Authors.

Copyright Notice

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and confer to the journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in IZSAF.
     
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g. publish it on an institutional repository or as an essay in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in IZSAF.

Names and contact information, that are provided to the journal during the submission process, are used exclusively for the purpose mentioned and will not be transferred to third parties
